The Optical Industry Celebrates - ODMA 2025 Awards

This year ODMA took a slightly new approach to our Awards program as we hosted the Awards program to honour excellence and innovation within the optical industry.

The Awards program included recognition for a range of both supplier and independent practice-focused categories.

Categories were announced earlier in the year, and the industry was encouraged to first nominate their favourite suppliers and practices. The next stage saw the release of the nominees' list, enabling the industry to vote for their picks from the nominated businesses and individuals.

The number of votes placed surpassed all ODMA’s expectations and shows that the industry is in good hands, demonstrating that the optical industry rightly celebrates success, given the great work performed every day by suppliers and practices alike.

ODMA CEO Amanda Trotman informed the industry that over 2,100 votes had been cast and that she was thrilled with how engaged the industry had been, both in publicising their own nominations and voting for nominees.

Amanda said, “This truly is a program offered by the industry, for the industry and with massive industry involvement choosing who should be honoured in 2025.”

ODMA celebrated both finalists and winners based on vote counts through announcements at the ODMAFair25 Friday networking function, with a presentation from the centre stage on the Trade Fair and hundreds of people in attendance. All finalists received certificates, with winners in each category presented with a glass trophy. Many of the entries were displayed either physically or via images on the booth devoted to the Awards on the trade fair floor.

Please see the following finalists (in alphabetical order) and winners of each category, and congratulations to them and everyone involved.
