Australian manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors of optical and ophthalmic products and services can apply to become members of ODMA. After the fully completed application is received, all applications are considered at the next board meeting.

ODMA Membership Costs
Membership fees offer great value for money and are calculated based on the number of employees in your organisation. Please check you meet the Membership Criteria and advise us of your employee numbers to receive a quote.
Annual Fee $79.20 (incl. GST) per employee* < 15 Employees $1,188 (minimum) Maximum $3,036 * Exclusive Agents to be included in total number of employees.
Associate membership - Free of charge to eligible ODMA event exhibitors
ODMA currently welcomes non-ODMA member organisations to participate in some ODMA owned and managed events. Live event management is a key ODMA offering and given this exhibition opportunity is provided to organisations beyond our paid member organisations, we have formalised a new offering in ODMA’s recently updated Constitution, named ODMA Associate Membership. This is a free membership with a subset of full membership benefits.
What Does This Mean for You?
This means that for free, for a 12 month period from our offer to you (usually just before a major ODMA event you are booked to participate at), your business can enjoy several membership benefits such as:
Recipient of ODMA’s key communications – e-talk, member bulletins and year in review updates
Included to provide input to key industry surveys or ODMA submissions to Government bodies
Kept abreast of key TGA and Standards matters
Offer to choose booth location space before the broad general database – be next in line after paid ODMA members!

Why Are We Offering This?
We do this to seek to include an even broader base of organisations to our events and publications to add as much value to our event visitors and subscriber base as possible, by providing information on a broader range of optical products and services. This also provides ODMA the opportunity to support more of the industry and the potential for continued collaboration and member growth.
Offer Eligibility
Per our Constitution, this offer is open to a person carrying on business in the ophthalmic and optical industry predominantly as a distributor, wholesaler or manufacturer and who supports the purposes of the Association.
Associate membership status is offered for a period not exceeding 12 months maybe granted to those persons on application to the CEO, who would otherwise qualify to be a member and who intend to or have participated in the Association’s events.

the email address you wish communications to be sent to for your organisation
that you have read and agree to ODMA’s Code of Conduct found on the Governance tab of this website
Please note that free Associate Membership does not entitle you to items such as the ability to vote at ODMA AGMs, to nominate a person to serve on ODMA’s Board, to attend our member only networking events, to receive our research reports nor to receive a member discount on booth space at ODMA events. These are benefits of our paid membership offering detailed above.
