Kowa Non Mydriatic WX-3D Retinal Camera
The Kowa Non Mydriatic WX-3D Retinal Camera produces either single image (450) or Stereo pair images (340) in one single shot.
Single image: The 12 megapixel high resolution image compares well with any conventional camera in the market. The integrated 9 points internal fixation system allows for mosaic photography covering a large retinal area with automatic image rotation and alignment.
3D Stereo Images: Instant and simultaneous 3D photography is possible in one shot. Stereoscopic images are captured without image/parallax shifts (SSP = Simultaneous Stereo Photography).
The shape of the optic cup and disc can be viewed in a three dimensional image.
The system's 3D analysis software provides:-
- Numerical data of analysis results - display of optic disc parameters
- Display of the 3D image based on stereographic data
- DDLS (Disc Damage Likelihood Scale)
- Contour Line Depth Distribution graph
- Follow-up comparative data
Innovation:
This system is the first digital high resolution retinal camera to provide both single image and 3D Stereo pair images in one shot. It is unique in the Ophthalmic market. There is no need for manual alignment or registration of two separately captured images.
Nidek OPD III Optical Path Difference Scanning System
The Nidek OPD III provides several functions in one measurement:-
- Auto Refraction in photopic and mesopic conditions
- Auto Keratometry
- Corneal Topography
- Abberometry (wavefront analysis) of the internal and total eye
- Pupilometry
- Measurement of Accommodation
Utilising Placido Disc Topography and Dynamic Skioscopy the OPD III provides high resolution maps of corneal topography (39 rings, 11,850 points measured), total and internal wavefront maps (2,528 points measured) expressed in dioptres or microns.
Reports Available:-
- Overview of all results
- Optical Quality Summary (Point Spread Function + Modulation Transfer Function)
- Corneal Navigator (Statistics and nomograms for corneal conditions e.g. Keratoconus)
- Accommodation Measurement
- Contact Lens Fitting
- Photopic & Mesopic Refraction
- Cataract Summary
- Toric IOL Summary
Innovation: In one measurement the OPD Scan III provides a comprehensive assessment of the optical system of the human eye to enable the practitioner to gain useful information in order to assist in solving difficult vision problems for the patient.
