This year at ODMA, the innovative Carl Zeiss will showcase some new and exciting technologyPhotoFusion®, the NEW self-tinting lenses by Carl Zeiss Vision react up to 2x faster* from dark to clear than previous photochromic lenses by ZEISS. The secret is the patented photo-active molecule structure that makes up the new technology. When PhotoFusion® lenses are hit by UV rays, the molecules are unleashed thus darkening the lens- the more intense the UV rays, the darker the lenses. PhotoFusion® lenses retain their performance for longer lasting durability, offer excellent colour consistency and are very clear indoors yet very dark outdoors ensuring optimum vision with 100% UV protection.

The VISUCAM 200 is the world\'s first fundus camera to measure macular pigment density.  This is used to identify patients at risk of AMD and to monitor the effect of diet and supplements on the level of macular pigment.  The non-mydriatic VISUCAM 200 can also take colour, red-free, stereo and montage images, all through a 3.3mm pupil, making the VISUCAM 200 the ideal screening solution for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and AMD.

The world leading Cirrus HD-OCT OCT now comes in two models: model 4000 and model 400, each with superb images, ease of use and proven, robust analyses.  It is also the world\'s first OCT to combine its raw data with a perimeter (Humphrey Field Analyser) to create the RNFL - Visual Field Combined Report. 

The combined report resides within the FORUM Eye Care Data Management software which allows reports from ZEISS and non-ZEISS to be viewed side-by-side. 

Also shown will be the infrared ATLAS 9000 Corneal Topographer, featuring innovative software including PathFinder II which automatically categorises corneas for you and the popular Humphrey Matrix perimeter featuring extensively-published early glaucoma detection capability.
